What is your professional experience? Why did you choose to get involved with Circle of Care?
Matt is a VP and Business Banking Relationship Manager at M&T Bank. He has over 25 years of experience in financial services management, business banking, and private banking. Two of his family members have battled cancer, and he remembers the impact this had on their family and the need for support. He was drawn to Circle of Care after meeting members of our leadership team and volunteering at/attending our events!
What do you do with Circle of Care? How do you feel your professional experience provides value as a board member at Circle of Care?
With Matt’s local experience with non-profit organizations and financial services, Matt helps to support awareness in the community. He also provides support for our events, fundraising, and networking.
What do you do in your free time?
Matt enjoys many different sports, but has quite a storied background in skiing. While in college, he was on the University of Colorado ski team. After college, he became a ski instructor at a resort in Vail, which led to skiing-related jobs in Australia and London. He even became a World Champion at Synchronized Skiing and Aerials!
He also enjoys volunteering in his community and is a member of the Westport Rotary Club and the Westport Senior Center Board of Directors. He also volunteers for Homes for Hope in Westport, the Westport Chamber of Commerce, and the Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport.
