Care to Run?
SAVE THE DATE - Saturday October 8th 2017
On Saturday October 8th, hundreds of people will join children with cancer and their families from around the state to run our 3rd Annual Circle of Care 5k: Care to Run. Held in Wilton, this is a community-wide event, with teams from all over Fairfield County organizing to run to show children with cancer how much they care. Corporations, families and professional runners are joining teams or running as individuals. Our student committee members are organizing teams in each grade at Wilton High School to compete with student teams from other schools. All funds go to Circle of Care’s programs that directly impact children with cancer in Conn.
Registration is just $30 per person or $10 for a child doing the Fun Run. Individuals who sign up to raise a minimum of $300 will have their registration fee waived. Teams can also be formed to raise funds, and any team that raises more than $1,000 will have its registration fees waived. Last year’s inaugural event had hundreds of participants, spectators and volunteers and created significant visibility for sponsors. Modest cash prizes will be awarded for the race, which will be timed and USATF Certified. There will also be prizes for Best Team Spirit and Best Fundraiser.
Registration opening soon!
